For those who don't feel like clicking the links, it's concrete with little pellets inside filled with dormant bacteria. When small cracks appear water seeps in and activates the bacteria. The bacteria pulls out their pre-packed lunch of calcium lactate that the scientists gave them and munch away. That turns into limestone and seals the crack back! Isn't magic science awesome!
